£5 NHS donation for ‘rainbow’ language learning packs

May 4, 2020

Kidslingo has launched a national campaign to raise funds for the NHS Charities Together to support NHS workers. This is the same charity that Captain Tom has raised over £35M for with his famous 100 laps before his 100th birthday. Whilst the Kidslingo target is more modest, they still want to do as much as they can to help raise vital funds.

For just a £5 donation to NHS Charities Together, people will receive a 15-minute video class link recorded by a Kidslingo expert linguist, mp3 song download and 17 page activity booklet download packed with worksheets to keep the kids busy and engaged.

The ‘rainbow’ learning packs are available in both French and Spanish, with 2 age levels of 2-7 years and 7 years plus. The packs are focused on learning colours with a rainbow theme but also encompass counting, parts of the body and greetings. The fundraising page is https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/KidslingoHQ_SpanishandFrenchpacks

The photograph created to launch the campaign features all of the Kidslingo 90 franchisees holding a rainbow picture, drawing or item in support of the NHS workers.

Kidslingo is a multi-award winning franchise that inspires young children to love languages. Through interactive learning – via songs, games, Makaton, active story-telling and let’s pretend – children from birth to the age of 11 are learning French and Spanish and building their confidence and communication skills.

Before the lockdown, Kidslingo was teaching languages to over 15,000 children every week face to face. However as soon as the lockdown rules were imposed, Kidslingo switched to interactive and fun live video classes, which are available nationwide via computer, phone or tablet for existing and new customers. There are also additional resources including educational packs and music, emailed out weekly. Please see here for more details about the classes and for additional free language learning resources.
