Meet the Teachers:

Hola! My name is Elena and I am the Kidslingo Spanish Franchisee for Twickenham, Richmond and the surrounding areas!

I am a Birkbeck College graduate where I majored in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies. My university studies included modules on Spanish language analysis, Latin American literature, Spanish film studies and it saw me research and write a 10,000 word paper on neocolonialism in South America within the spiritual/new age movement. For now, I am working hard to deliver highly engaging Spanish lessons. However, a dream of mine would be to complete a Msc or Phd in Linguistics and Second Language Acquistion.

As a spanish philologist who also confidently speaks Greek, Italian and Portuguese, my passion for Hispanic culture and language aquisition undeniably pours into my language lessons. This means that our Kidslingo Spanish lessons are not just an opportunity for your child to learn Spanish, but also an opportunity to learn about Hispanic culture, music and customs.

My Teaching Journey:

I began my teaching journey  at 18 by working with charities to offer free English lessons to migrant women living in low income london neighbourhoods. Less than a year later, I had the priviledge of teaching in countries like Honduras, Ecuador and Peru. In 2019, I became a self employed Spanish teacher and gained experience teaching Spanish to people of all ages and abilities.
