The Team

Hola! my name is Claire and I am an experienced GTC registered primary teacher, with OU certification in Spanish and a BA in Business Management. I have lived and taught in Spain (Madrid) and Latin American countries (including Argentina). Since living back in Scotland, I’ve continued to share my enthusiasm for Spanish culture by teaching Spanish within various primary school and nursery settings. I enjoy seeing the sense of achievement on children’s faces as they learn in an innovative and fun way.

Our fabulous tutor, Marie from Puerto Rico runs our West End and online classes.  Marie is an experienced Primary Teacher, both in Puerto Rico and in Scotland. She is looking  forward to giving your child a love of Spanish which will hopefully continue throughout their lives.

About our classes

Our exciting and interactive Kidslingo sessions cater for the following age ranges :

The preschool programme 3-5 years is set within private nurseries and community classes. Using songs, games, toys, musical instruments, story telling,  movement and drama, the children get an amazing introductory experience of Spanish language and culture.

With our school age programme 5-11 years, we engage our budding linguists using stage appropriate songs, games, role play,  and stories. Kidslingo recognises the importance of children continuing to learn and progress. Therefore, we provide a high-quality learning experience, where courses are carefully aligned to the early CfE Experiences and Outcomes for modern languages, literacy and health and wellbeing. We keep our classes small for your child to receive the best educational experience.

Prices –

Classes are run term time only according to local council holidays. You are only charged for the time period when classes are running

e,g 38 classes from Aug to June  – 38 classes x Price per class split over  10 months DD

– £5.00pp, 30 mins,  max number of  children in class = 12

VENUE CLASSES

Pre School age

– £7.00pp, 40 mins, max number of children in class  = 10/11

School age learners

– £9.00pp, 45 mins, max number of children in class =  12 West End/Bishopbriggs

– £9.00pp 40 mins, max children in class = 9 Bearsden

ONLINE CLASSES

School age learners  – £7.00pp, max children in class = 8

10% sibling discount available 

Payments

BEASRDEN  – 1 FREE taster then DD,  due to max children in class = 9 children, and most class already full or close to capacity

WEST END Block from Jan 2025  to Feb 2025  – Block session paid in advance

BISHOPBRIGGS – 3 week Introductory Offer £18  then DD

ONLINE Sessions from Jan 2025 – 3 week Introductory Offer £15 then DD
