Spanish Classes Buxton, Sheffield SW & Leek
Hola! My name is Olivia and I run Kidslingo across a large part of the Peak District and beyond. We provide fun Spanish (or French) classes for children age 0 – 11 years in schools, nurseries and online. Bookings are now being taken and lessons will start from September 1st, 2023 in Buxton, Sheffield SW, Leek, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Whaley Bridge, Bakewell, Hathersage, Hartington, Taddington and more.
About me
I studied languages at Oxford University before staying on for a year to complete my PGCE in languages. I have over twenty years of teaching experience in both secondary and primary schools. Teaching languages is my passion and I love to see children gain confidence, memory skills and a love of learning through early exposure to learning a new language.
About the team
The Kidslingo Buxton Sheffield SW & Leek tutor team are all either native speakers or hold a degree in languages and are fully insured.
As part of our commitment to safeguarding our safer recruitment procedures are as follows:
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS): All teachers/tutors have provided proof of a clear Enhanced DBS check
- Identity: The staff member’s Identity has been verified via passport and utility bills.
- Qualifications: Internal training is provided and language proficiency have been assessed.
- References: Suitable written references have been obtained prior.
- Right to work in the UK: All staff members have been checked in line with Home Office guidelines to ensure they have the right to work in the UK.
We are committed to maintaining high standards of professional and safe conduct and therefore in addition to the above we have training in place to ensure the ongoing suitability of all our teachers:
- Child Safeguarding Protection Level 2
- Keeping Children Safe in Education
- Prevention of radicalisation (Prevent)
- Basic paediatric first aid
- E-safety
