Bonjour! I’m Leona and I run the Frenchtastic language programme by Kidslingo in Central and West Bolton. I am a qualified languages teacher with 10 years of experience behind me with a BA (Hons) degree in Spanish and French. I spent 10 months living and teaching English in a primary school in Madrid before training as a secondary school teacher. I am also mum to a baby girl who I am bringing up to be bilingual. I am passionate about making languages fun for children and believe that early exposure to a second language helps greatly in a child’s development. Speaking a second language is also a fantastic confidence booster for children.

I run fun and interactive French classes for children from new-born to 11 years old. At Kidslingo, our classes are interactive and great fun! We use songs, games, drama and stories to bring the language to life! Our learning programme fully supports the EYFS framework and National Curriculum guidelines used in primary schools. All of our innovative learning programmes deliver inspiring and engaging lessons, which cater for each specific age range:

0 – 18 months – Multi-sensory baby class with a flavour of Spanish
18 months – 4 years – Pre-school class
4 – 8 years – Infant class
7 – 11 years – Junior club

 

I am DELIGHTED to be the new owner of Kidslingo Bolton Central and West and I am so excited to start helping the children of Bolton develop a love of languages. My classes are held in nurseries and for child minders, primary schools (lunchtime / after-school clubs & MFL PPA cover) and for home educators. Can’t make a class?
