Bonjour! I’m Leona, and I run the French language programme with Kidslingo in Central and West Bolton. I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Spanish and French and have been a qualified languages teacher for 14 years. During my degree, I spent 10 months living in Madrid, where I taught English in a primary school before going on to train as a secondary school teacher. I’m also a proud mum to an almost 3-year-old little girl who I’m raising to be bilingual. I’m passionate about making language learning fun and believe that early exposure to another language is a wonderful way to support a child’s development and build their confidence.

I run fun and interactive French classes for children from new-born to 11 years old. At Kidslingo, our classes are interactive and great fun! We use songs, games, drama and stories to bring the language to life! Our learning programme fully supports the EYFS framework and National Curriculum guidelines used in primary schools. All of our innovative learning programmes deliver inspiring and engaging lessons, which cater for each specific age range:

0 – 18 months – Multi-sensory baby class with a flavour of Spanish
18 months – 4 years – Pre-school class
4 – 8 years – Infant class
7 – 11 years – Junior club

I’m so proud to be the owner of Kidslingo Bolton Central and West, where I love helping children across Bolton develop a passion for languages. I run my classes in nurseries, with childminders, in primary schools (lunchtime and after-school clubs, as well as MFL PPA cover), and for home-educated children.
