About Me
Bonjour et bienvenue! My name is Nicola. I have a Joint Honours degree in French, Portuguese and History and have spent 13 years working as a French teacher and 10 years as the Head of Languages in a secondary school. I am now very excited to have the opportunity to inspire our younger learners to develop their love of languages.
What is Kidslingo?
At Kidslingo, we help parents, nurseries, primary schools (clubs & PPA cover), home educators and childminders to engage children in French language learning. This is done in a friendly and fun way through music, stories, songs and games! Our next half-term starts at Mickleover w/c 1st June 2026. If you wish to guarantee your place for the whole term, please click on the ‘enrol now’ button for your chosen class. If you are a new customer, why not try 3 classes for the price of 2 – see below. You can join at any time – you won’t be at a disadvantage if you haven’t done the previous classes and you will only be charged for the remaining classes. Contact me for a 20% sibling discount.

Classes will take place:
Mickleover – Thurs 4th June 10am, Thurs 11th June 10am, Thurs 18th June 10am, Thurs 25th June 10am, Thurs 2nd July 10am, Thurs 9th July 10am, Thurs 16th July 10am, Thurs 23rd July 10am.
SPECIAL OFFER – 3 week trial for £14 – click on the trial course button. Note: only one trial per customer. Subsequent bookings must be made using the ‘enrol now’ option.
Please note that due to venue limitations, each pre-school class booking is for one child and one accompanying adult. If you would like more than one adult to come along, please contact me for availability. I can often accommodate so please do ask.
Booking FAQs
- Booking is for all remaining classes in the current block: casual (pay-as-you-go) booking is not available.
- The price of the class you wish to book (and the number of classes remaining) can be seen when you click the red ‘enrol now’ button and then the ‘show classes’ tab.
- The price includes free access to our exclusive Kidslingo game site. This applies to all half-termly bookings, not trials.
- Payment is required in full prior to the first class.
- To ensure you receive our booking related emails, please check your junk mail folder.

- Places in group classes are strictly limited.
- If your preferred class is full, you can register your interest by joining our waiting list.
