About me

I just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Sarah Serey Canales and I am from Aughton, Ormskirk. I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with a BA Honours Degree in Hispanic Studies. I have lived in Spain and over the years I have also taught Spanish privately to both children and adults. I have two young boys and my husband is Chilean. We speak both Spanish and English at home. I know first-hand how quickly children learn new vocabulary in a second language and how well they retain it when they are taught in a fun and engaging way. I am passionate about giving all children a very positive experience of language learning from an early age and believe that early exposure to a foreign language is a fantastic way to boost a child’s confidence and linguistic development.
