Hello! I’m Beatriz, proud owner of Kidslingo in Petersfield, Waterlooville, Havant and the surrounding areas. At Kidslingo, we blend fun with purpose — children learn French naturally through music, stories, games and plenty of laughter. I’ve seen how transformative early language learning can be and how children grow in confidence, curiosity and cultural awareness, developing a pride that lasts for years.
🌟 Why Families Love Kidslingo
Parents tell us that their children leave our sessions buzzing with excitement — singing French songs at home, using new words confidently, and counting down the days to their next class. Many even surprise their families with how quickly they begin understanding and speaking French!
Learning another language at a young age doesn’t just boost communication skills; it supports brain development, problem-solving, creativity, cultural appreciation and long-term academic success. Research even suggests lifelong cognitive benefits — a gift that truly grows with your child.
And as a mother myself, I’ve seen how my daughter and son’s bilingual journey is flourishing transforming their world, opening doors, friendships and opportunities for life!

🧑🏫 A Little More About Me
I was born in Chile to French parents, and later lived in beautiful Altea, Alicante, before moving to England 26 years ago. Being bilingual shaped my life in extraordinary ways — opportunities, friendships, confidence and a deep love of culture.
With a background in Journalism and Social Communication and leading my own Translation Agency for more than 16 years my passion for people and languages eventually led me also to education. Together with my team of tutors we are proud to teach French to children. Helping little ones take their first steps toward becoming confident global citizens is an absolute joy and privilege.

How Learning a Second Language Boosts Your Child’s Speech and Language Development. Discover how learning French or Spanish can support your child’s communication skills, confidence, and overall language development. Many parents are surprised to learn that introducing a second language at an early age doesn’t just teach new words - it actually strengthens a child’s speech and language development.

This year, Languages Week Scotland runs from Monday 2 to Friday 6 February 2026. The week is a national celebration of language learning and multilingualism. It’s a brilliant chance for schools, nurseries, childminders and families to spotlight the many languages spoken in Scotland – and to give children a positive, playful experience of languages.
