Bonjour! I am Vicci and I run Kidslingo in and around Glossop, Hadfield, Hyde, Broadbottom, Audenshaw and Denton. At Kidslingo we run fun and interactive French classes for kids from 0 – 11 years old in nurseries, schools and community venues. Spanish classes also running – please click here.
About me
As a child I loved going on holiday abroad and picking up words in other languages. From this early interest in languages I later went on to to achieve a BA Hons degree in Modern Languages (French, Spanish and Portuguese) and had the opportunity to study in Valencia and Paris. Keen to share my love of languages I became a secondary Spanish and French teacher and taught at this level for 18 years. During my career I had the opportunity to teach primary languages which I really enjoyed due to the enthusiasm and excitement of younger learners.
I am now fortunate to be able to share my passion for languages with my two young children and the little ones in my Kidslingo classes. By making language learning fun I can inspire them to love languages too!
Learning another language at an early age can have so many benefits. As well as boosting confidence and linguistic development, even in their own language, children benefit from improved social and communication skills. Equally they have a greater awareness and appreciation of the world around them.
About the classes
Nursery classes
We currently run classes in several nurseries in Denton and Hyde. These are an excellent opportunity for children to learn with their peers in a familiar environment.

Lunchtime and After School Clubs in primary school,
We run our popular Kidslingo classes in primary Lunch and After School Clubs. If you would like us to run a club at your child’s primary school, please get in touch and we will contact the school on your behalf.

Kidslingo had the incredible opportunity to deliver a Language & Communication workshop to a group of over 60 Early Years specialists at the Childcare & Education Expo at London Olympia last weekend. This exciting event brought together passionate professionals dedicated to early childhood education, and Kidslingo was thrilled to share how fun, interactive language learning can support children’s communication skills from a young age.
