French Classes Bow, Hackney Central & Canary Wharf

Fun French classes for kids in Bow, Hackney Central, Bethnal Green (E2), Homerton, Haggerston, Dalston, Victoria Park & Limehouse, Isle of Dogs & Canary Wharf.

Bonjour! My name’s Debbie and I run fun French classes for kids in the above areas of East London.

About the classes

Kidslingo classes are an engaging mix of songs, games, stories and drama for children from birth to 11 years. We introduce your child to the language in a natural and intuitive way, allowing them to learn through play – and to have a whole heap of FUN in the process!

Research has shown that learning a foreign language at a very young age offers a wealth of benefits. Not only does it give your child a greater linguistic ability later in life; it also increases critical thinking skills, creativity, self-confidence and flexibility of mind. Children absorb new words and mimic new sounds amazingly well so they pick up the vocab and pronunciation very quickly. By learning through play, they feel confident putting their new linguistic skills into practice.

About me

I’m a mum to two young children. I have a degree in modern languages, a postgraduate diploma in translation and 20 years’ experience in the language industry. I have lived and worked in both Paris and Lyons and count my time spent in France among my happiest memories. When my second child, Emily, was born I decided to explore linguistic avenues closer to home. That’s when I discovered the wonderful Kidslingo family. Joining the team was a real no-brainer. What other job allows you to be a swashbuckling pirate one minute and fly a rocket ship the next? And all in the pursuit of language learning! I find children amazing to work with and it’s so incredibly rewarding watching their passion for the language grow.

Classes are available in nurseries, primary schools, private venues, childminder settings, and in your own home with our Kidslingo@home service.
