Spanish Classes West Wirral
Hola! My name is Jo and I run fun, interactive Spanish classes for children aged 0 – 11 years in West Wirral.
I have been a primary school teacher since 2007 and I am a mum to two young children. My passion for languages started at an early age and I have been lucky enough to spend time living and studying in beautiful Granada, Spain. During my time in the classroom, I have taught children of all abilities, including those with special needs and have been able to teach Spanish (and some French) alongside other subjects, to hundreds of children. I love to make language learning fun and believe early exposure to a foreign language is a fantastic way to boost a child’s confidence, natural creativity, curiosity about the world around them and linguistic development, even in their own native language.
Our multi-award winning Kidslingo classes are designed to engage young learners in a very natural and intuitive way, immersing them in the language through songs, actions, role-play, games and stories. We are Makaton friendly and our learning programme fully supports the EYFS framework and National Curriculum guidelines used in primary schools.
Classes are available for:
- nurseries
- primary schools – PPA cover
- primary school clubs
- childminders
- home educators
- private tuition
I currently run school curriculum classes, school lunch clubs and nursery/preschool classes. Please get in touch if you would like more information: joanna.carver@kidslingo.co.uk
“Jo Carver’s Spanish Class is fabulous, the children have learnt so much over the last few weeks. The class covers many areas of development within the sessions, it’s not all about a new language! I would definitely recommend Jo Carver’s Spanish, our children love to learn new things, and she always brings something new to the class. She possesses a lot of patience and most important of all, FUN the children love it!”
Fiona Khedun – Manager St.Bridget’s Pre-School 2020.
“My 7 year old daughter accessed several pre-recorded Kidslingo classes with Jo over the lockdown period. She absolutely loved it! I could hear her happily singing the songs and even wrote down her own notes so she could remember everything. She loved the songs so much that she often replayed them several times before moving on. She’s been completely inspired to learn Spanish and it was one of her favourite lockdown classes. Thank you!”
