¡Hola!  My name is Emily and I lead the team here at Kidslingo Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Hadleigh and Diss.  My team of talented linguists and I bring exciting and engaging language learning to learners age 0-11 years, through our award-winning nursery and pre-school classes, extra-curricular clubs, curriculum classes (PPA), Language Enrichment Days and online classes.  There is so much research which demonstrates that young exposure to a foreign language is the very best way to learn and we passionately believe that through fun and engaging classes children can have the very best start to their language learning journey.  Below you will find information about the classes we offer but please do get in touch with me if you have an enquiry about something not mentioned.

¡Hasta pronto!

About the classes

Fun Spanish classes for children age 0-11 years.  Learn through songs, rhymes, role plays, actions, stories and, above all, lots and lots of fun.  Classes available for schools (clubs & curriculum teaching), nurseries, private homes as well as online.

All classes fully support the EYFS and KS1 and KS2 curriculum, with a focus on fun and engagement.

Curriculum Classes and Language Enrichment Days for schools

PPA/curriculum classes

Our curriculum classes are fully designed to meet the curriculum requirements.  We aim to enhace cultural capital via a wider world view, supporting pupils’ roles as effective global citizens.  We work with your language lead to ensure a progressive curriculum, aligned with the learning aims of your school.

Language Enrichment Days

We also run a range of Language Enrichment Days which can boost your current languages provision.  We work with your languages lead to create a bespoke offering, ensuring we meet your learning aims for the day.  Example packages include

  • our popular ‘Visit Spain’ experience day (imagine taking your pupils’ on a day trip to Spain without leaving the school building!)
  • Día de Muertos
  • European Day of Languages
  • World Day for Cultural Diversity
  • Christmas workshops – find out about how Christmas is celebrated in Spain

Extra curricular clubs in schools (EYFS/KS1/KS2)

Our award-winning programme of extra-curricular clubs is very popular with children, parents, teachers and headteachers (click here to read our 5* reviews).  Please contact us for further details.  If, as a parent, you are the key driver in an after-school club launching at your child’s school, your child will attend a half term of club sessions for free.

Online classes (ages 0-11years – group or private lessons available)

These classes are live and interactive and delivered via Zoom.  There are weekly activities to complete between lessons and also includes free access to over 250 online games.

Pre-schools, childminders and nurseries

Our unique language learning programme, running in hundreds of early years settings across the UK, supports the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.  The programme feeds into the key areas of learning and development which is crucial for igniting children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and building their capacity to learn.
