French Classes Tadcaster, Wetherby & Selby

Fun French classes for kids in Tadcaster, Selby, Wetherby and Boston Spa areas

Bonjour!  My name is Suzy and I am thrilled to be bringing fun, interactive children’s French classes to a wide range of settings across towns and villages from Tadcaster to Goole.

Our multi-award winning classes are designed to engage and inspire children, immersing them in the language through an exciting mix of action songs with Makaton signing, stories, games and ‘let’s pretend’.  So we bring French to life whilst covering key topics that children will love.

Furthermore, our innovative learning programme is designed to support the Early Years Foundation Stage and the KS1/KS2 curriculum. Our classes cater for specific age ranges from baby groups and pre-schoolers right up to juniors at 7-11 years.

Most importantly, we introduce your child to the language in a natural and intuitive way, allowing them to learn through play and social interaction.  Exposure to different cultures and learning a foreign language is an invaluable part of every child’s education and growth.  Our fun and interactive lessons will boost both their self-confidence and self-esteem, as well as enhancing their natural creativity and curiosity.

Young children absorb new words and mimic new sounds amazingly well.  They therefore pick up vocabulary and pronunciation quickly without even realising they are learning a language.

What a wonderful skill to give to your child!

I developed a real love of languages at a young age whilst at school which led me to travel widely.  As a result, I went on to study languages at university, during which I spent time living abroad and was awarded a joint honours degree.

I have three daughters; 13 year old twins who both are keen linguists, my youngest is 9 and enjoying French at primary school.  I am passionate about making language learning fun for children.  Above all, I truly believe that early exposure to a foreign language is a fantastic way to boost a child’s confidence and linguistic development, even in their native language.

Classes run during term time at a range of settings:

  • Nurseries and primary schools
  • Home educators and childminders
  • Private venues
  • Residential homes for our Kidslingo Together Intergenerational Classes
  • In your own home with our Kidslingo@home service

FREE TASTER for all new customers, so come along and see what we do!

Do you have a group of friends who want to learn together in your own home?  Are you a childminder or run a nursery? Would you like your school to offer a French Club?  Are you a Primary School Head and would like me to take an assembly so you can see what it’s all about?  If so, I’d love to hear from you.
