Bonjour! I’m Laura and I run fun French classes for kids aged 0-11, in and around the areas above. I am a qualified teacher (PGCE in Primary with Modern Foreign Languages) with over 10 years’ teaching experience. Kidslingo classes are a multi-sensory mix of songs, games, story-telling, role-play, Makaton, puppetry and more.
Research shows that learning a second language early in life has huge, life-long benefits: It boosts cognitive development, all-round language and literacy development, listening, concentration, memory, and social skills, on top of opening doors to the world! In addition, our fun and interactive lessons nurture children’s self-confidence, and enhance their creativity and curiosity.
Classes are currently available for:
- Primary Schools – Lunch clubs or PPA cover
- Public groups
- Care Homes
- Home Educators
- Private Tuition for children up to 11 years
Free Taster Sessions are available now, for your setting!
If you would like a free taster for your setting, please get in touch with me, at: firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text 07367 430 582.
I started teaching at the age of 17, when I gave piano lessons. I went on to teach clarinet and piano, and lead choirs. Since then, I have worked in Primary Schools, teaching the whole curriculum, but specialising in French and Music. More recently, having two bi-lingual sons has shown me that we are missing a trick in this country, and I’d like to do something about that!
I am passionate about giving children the rich, varied learning experiences that I benefitted from as a child. I love nothing more than to see children having fun and growing in skills and self-confidence at the same time. Kidslingo lets this happen every day!
